The battle ended in victory for the Congolese, as Tabora was taken.The Colonial Brotherhood Troops (1914-1918) was the association of former combatants in the <em>Force Publique <\/em>(\u00ab The Public Force of the Belgian Congo \u00bb), which was an amalgamation of the Belgian Congo army and the police force.
