He then delegated his economic, political and legal powers to leading public figures and magistrates, who thereby became responsible for the general administration of the city. The authority of the <em>Jurade<\/em> lasted until the French Revolution in 1789. In 1948 a group of wine-growers revived the Brotherhood, which since then has acted as the ambassador for Saint-\u00c9milion wines worldwide, with the aim of guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of its products. In 1999 the <em>Jurade<\/em> and the municipalities under its jurisdiction were recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n","fav":"0","fav_l":"0","don":"Jurade de Saint Emilion","d_y":1952,"d_m":1,"d_d":31,"d_s":-1}
